A strong, committed advocate for his clients, Reid Kelly
vigorously represents employees and employers in employment-related
matters in the State of Colorado. His primary goal is client satisfaction with an adherence to high ethical standards, a goal he believes often can be realized through dispute resolution outside of the courtroom. In cases that result in litigation, Mr. Kelly’s clients find themselves in the hands of an experienced and successful litigator. In 1996 Mr. Kelly won one of the largest verdicts in the state that year in a wrongful discharge lawsuit (Walker v. GTE). His practice area also includes general civil litigation, and he has litigated cases that have gained international attention. In addition, Mr. Kelly successfully tried a case that established new law under Colorado’s wrongful death statutes (Dewey v. Hardy).

Experience
Mr. Kelly has nearly 20 years of experience in the areas of employment law
and general civil litigation. He is one of the two original founding members of
The Kelly Law Firm. Prior to establishing the firm in 1996, he practiced law in Colorado Springs for nine years, and was a partner in the firm of Warren,
Mundt & Martin, P.C. While practicing in Colorado Springs, he served as
co-chair of the Employment Law Section for the El Paso County Bar
Association in 1994-95.
